A railroad cap made with different fabrics every season at DOG.
This time we are using wax cotton fabric.
Waxed cotton is said to have been used as waterproof and cold-resistant work clothes by impregnating cotton fabric with oil so that fishermen and sailors in England could work even in heavy rain and wind. It is famous that it is often used in Barbour and Belstaff jackets.
We use oiled cotton fabric from the British company Miralane, a male of such wax cotton fabrics.
The model is based on the hat worn as a uniform for British railroad workers at the time, and is a cap designed like a cycling cap, also called a "mechanic cap".
By default, the brim is raised, but it can also be worn down like a regular baseball cap.
